I am devouring this book (as much as one can devour a 600+ page book) and am in awe of Rand’s insights though I know our conclusions are worlds apart. This quote describes exactly how I feel when I am working in the flesh rather than the Spirit. Her conclusion? Being selfless makes us all miserable so we should just live for the self. My conclusion? Being selfless makes us all miserable so we should just live for Jesus.
